Description

This committee will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and advocating for legislation and public policies that impact the nursing profession, healthcare delivery, and patient outcomes within the state.

Some basic activities of the committee include:

• Study needs for legislative action
• Study proposed federal, state, & local legislation for its implications for nurses, nursing, and public health
• Legislative and Advocacy Conference Planning

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month from 3:00 - 4:30 pm (central) via Zoom.
